DESCRIPTION

Voiced by Janet Waldo (who also voiced Judy Jetson and Josie from the Pussycats), Penelope Pitstop is described by the announcer on Wacky Races as “the Glamour Gal of the Gas Pedal”. In her own spin-off, 1969’s The Perils of Penelope Pitstop, she’s a damsel in distress whose catchphrase is “Help, help!” (cried out in a Southern accent as “HAY-ULP”) as she fends off her nemesis, the Hooded Claw, voiced by the legendary Paul Lynde.
