When Coles began opening New World Supermarkets in 1962, each store’s exterior featured a giant 3D rocket designed to resemble the one that had started the ‘space race’ by launching the first man-made satellite into orbit five years earlier.
FYI this print matches perfectly with my Worthless Fool Here print, which is based on Woolworths Food Fair.

Hand-printed dye transfer on acoustic felt tile.
50 signed, numbered prints in each size: S, M, L, XL.
Comes framed without glass because felt looks better naked.
