Violent Tumble

From $150

DESCRIPTION

Dye transfer on acoustic felt tile.

A series of limited edition framed prints.

20 numbered, signed prints in each of three sizes.

When Mr. Hoadley invented his famous chocolate honeycomb bar in 1913 he wanted to call it Crumble but found that word didn’t qualify legally as a trademark, so he added the name of his wife’s favourite flower, the violet, and voila! The Violet Crumble was born.
Twenty years later, showbags (originally called “sample bags”) were introduced to Australian fairs like the Royal Easter Show as a way to promote brands. Heavy paper bags containing samples and branded merch were given free of charge. Nowadays a showbag will set you back $20+.
